Bridge Engineer- Saratoga Springs New York
Associate to mid-level engineer needed to join our clients growing Bridge Engineering practice. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunity for career growth and advancement. You will be responsible for design and construction plan development for bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects throughout New York and New England. You will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
EIT Certification required, PE or eligible to acquire PE preferred
2 - 8 years of experience in bridge design, rehabilitation and/or inspection required
Experienced Project Manager/Civil Engineer is needed to join our clients growing team in the Southeast known for high-quality work, innovative project delivery and outstanding client service.
Perform project/contract management and general civil engineering and services for airport projects, including planning, technical design, and environmental task management. Resident Project Representative (RPR) services may also be provided.
Provide project management, civil engineering and inspection and monitoring of the design and/or construction of airport terminals and support buildings, airfield pavements, airfield lighting and NAVAIDS, and the oversight of quality control testing programs for the same.
You will have:
Full knowledge and adherence to QA standards, plans and specifications.
Ability to communicate and coordinate engineering design and construction activities with the Airport owner and operations staff and represent our client in a professional manner.
Ability to maintain a daily job log with clear written communications.
Ability to assist with marketing engineering and construction services and build upon on existing practice in southern Florida is a plus.
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required, with 8 + years of experience and knowledge of Engineering principles and Project Management.
Current professional engineer's license for the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain one, required
Experience with Airport design projects including permitting, building code and construction methods required.
Project management and/or RPR certification or equivalent experience/certification a plus.
The position will be in the clients growing Miami, FL office and offers a comprehensive compensation package, including:

Multiple Heavy Highway Project Engineers located in Toledo, Cincinnati , or Cleveland, OH
Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for various projects.
Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities. Includes personnel planning and administration, work assignments, disciplinary actions, etc.
Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule utilizing (Primavera P6).
Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of deign conflicts; contract reviews, etc. • Develop, implement and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents (submittals, RFI’s, expediting material deliveries, payment of Subcontractors/Vendors and Owner pay requests).
Represent company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings.
Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.
Oversee all pre-construction services, design build services, and business development for the project.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
You will have:
A 4-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
A minimum of five years similar construction engineering experience
Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc., plus an in-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.
Registration as a Professional Engineer is required.
